Kindergarten feasted and made Thank You Crosses while 7th and 1st grade Prayer Partners celebrated their gratitude for each other.

The 5th and 6th grade students led the student body in our Thanksgiving observance at Mass and for the GRACE celebration of the virtue of Responsibility. We incorporated some of the new changes in the Liturgy and Fr. Walt spoke to the students about the Good Samaritan and our responsibility of being grateful and SHOWING not just saying "Thanks" for all that we receive. After Mass, 5th and 6th grade read stories about special people who show Responsibility  for others and "spelled out" ways they can show responsibility in their daily lives as students and members of their families. Finally, we prayed for all of the people enrolled in the GRACE Program for November.

Students in grade 5 are learning about Greek mythology by presenting plays that feature famous Greek characters. Today the students acted out the stories of Demeter and Persephone, Echo and Narcissus, and Pandora's Box.

Yesterday, on Principal Appreciation Day, the students and faculty surprised Sr. Geri with an all school assembly, balloons, and flowers to show her how much they appreciate all that she does for our school. The cheerleaders  performed some cheers written especially for her while the Student Council members read poems to her about leadership and angels. Highlight of the assembly was a special song performed by grades K, 1 & 2 to the tune of "Heard it through the grapevine" and a blessing by Fr. Walt and all the students. Finally, Sr.Geri was presented with a special badge, flowers, balloons, and most importantly our love and respect.
