Basic Philosophy

Pre-School - Three Year Old Program

The goal of St. Philip Three Year Old Program is to provide a loving, secure, Christian atmosphere, where the children can interact with other children and experience God's love.Child must be 3 before September 1, 2008.

Pre-Kindergarten - Four Year Old Program

St. Philip Pre-Kindergarten strives to promote an enthusiasm for learning in a structured environment with an emphasis on religious training in Catholic traditions, prayers, music, and doctrines. While providing academic stimulation there are no demands placed upon the children other than cooperation and respect for authority. They learn at their own pace and, by the end of the program, the children should be well prepared for Kindergarten.

Social development is emphasized. The children are encouraged to be considerate and respectful of others. Gross and fine motor skills are developed. Good work habits are promoted; for example, completing tasks, cleaning up independently, and doing work carefully and neatly. The children are taught to be as self-reliant as possible. Basic hygiene and self-discipline will be promoted and encouraged. Child must be 4 before September 1, 2008.
