Mrs. Colleen Pilarski, Third Grade - Section B

Education / Experience:

I grew up in Pittsburgh, then lived abroad in Mexico for ten years!  After returning to Pittsburgh, I pursued a teaching degree at the University of Pittsburgh.  I've taught in a variety of settings, and have taught almost every grade level except 12th grade! 

SPS Legacy:

My husband and I live in Sheraden with our 17-year-old son, though we still spend a lot of family time with our three adult daughters as well.  As a family we enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and board games.  My other passions include reading and cooking.  As an active member of St. Philip Parish and a lector at 9:30 Masses, I am thrilled to be a new member of the SPS faculty!

Mr. Patrick Baker is originally from Washington, PA. He attended John F. Kennedy Catholic School and then Bishop Canevin. He completed his undergraduate work at Slippery Rock University and his Master’s at the Universidad de Alcalá in Alcalá de Henares, Spain. Since then he has worked and studied in Spain, China, and Montenegro. He has a passion for traveling and studying foreign languages.

Mr. Baker began exploring STEAM fields after returning from working in China and has been teaching Lego Robotics, 3D Design and Printing, computer programming, graphic design, along with other exciting STEAM areas. He is continuing to learn and loves sharing what he knows with students.
