JA Scholarships | Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania
JA of Western Pennsylvania Scholarships. Junior Achievement of Western PA is proud to support JA students as they continue their education. Through EITC and OSTC funding, as well as individual and corporate donations, Junior Achievement is able to offer a variety of scholarships to k-12 students that have participated in different types of JA programming.
K-12 Scholastic Opportunity Scholarship Program (SOS)
This grant program is for any student in Grades K-12 residing in Pennsylvania and attending any eligible Catholic school in the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh (see School Code List in the application). Proof of Residency Required.
Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program (OSTC)
This funding is available to families whose students reside within the attendance boundaries of a low-achieving school as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and who meet the income qualifying guidelines. You must provide a copy of the letter you received from your public school district confirming eligibility.
Bishop's Education Fund (BEF)
This grant program is for Catholic students in Grades K-12 attending eligible schools and registered in eligible parishes. Pastor Signature is Required. To review eligibility guidelines and apply for any of these grant programs, please visit www.diopitt.org/affordable

SPS Endowment for Catholic Education
Established as long term funding source that will aid families with tuition hardship. The SPS Endowment for Catholic Education was established to aid those families of students enrolled at St. Philip Roman Catholic Elementary experiencing economic hardship, to help meet their tuition obligation.
