St Philip students honored Our Blessed Mother and all mothers at the annual May Crowning devotion and May GRACE Program. The 2nd and 8th grades took special part in the ceremony which included the story of Mary's journey with Jesus, songs, prayers, a consecration to Mary, and the crowning. 8th graders Josie Bochicchio, Katrina Komoroski, and Grace Ravenstahl had the privilege of placing the crown on the statue as May Queen and court members respectively. The 2nd grade, dressed in their first Communion clothes, sang Glorious Mother and were part of the procession. The May GRACE Program, during which the children prayed for all those who have been enrolled for May including all mothers living and deceased, followed the ceremony.
