On Saturday, May 9th students were honored at the 2020 Carson Scholars Fund virtual awards banquet. Families celebrated the hard work of the selected students who will

receive medals and scholarships of $1000. St Philip 8th grader Julianna Umalin is among a group of over 4,200 students from around the country to be selected as a Carson Scholar. Academic achievements and community service make them stand out as future leaders.

St Philip alums who were also honored and named Carson High School Scholars are: Liam Cringle, Lauren Kirsch, Grace Ravenstahl, Janneselle Umalin, and Ella Wrabley. Special recognition to Bishop Canevin Senior Janneselle Umalin who was also named a Lumsden Scholar. Janneselle received this honor and an additional $1,000 towards her college education for achieving the status of being a 6 or more time Carson Scholar. Congratulations to all of our SPS Leaders.
